Bomb alert continues on Belfast line

The examination of a suspect bomb on the main Dublin railway line on the outskirts of Belfast is now expected to continue until tomorrow.

The examination of a suspect bomb on the main Dublin railway line on the outskirts of Belfast is now expected to continue until tomorrow.

The discovery was made after bomb alerts threw the entire northern rail network into chaos.

The cross-border railway has now been closed for 15 days so far this year.

Passengers are being carried on bus transfers as the alert continues at Finaghy.
