Irish low-fares airline Ryanair has dismissed Aer Lingus’s decision to slash its Internet fares by up to 51% as part of its wide-ranging survival plan.

Irish low-fares airline Ryanair has dismissed Aer Lingus’s decision to slash its Internet fares by up to 51% as part of its wide-ranging survival plan.

A Ryanair spokesman described the move as “a load of humbug” and said the announcement should have made “on April Fool’s Day, not at Christmas”.
