Toddler dies after holiday tragedy in Youghal

A two-year-old boy has died in an accident at a holiday park in Co Cork.

A two-year-old boy has died in an accident at a holiday park in Co Cork.

The toddler was found unconscious in the pool at the caravan park in Youghal shortly before 11am this morning.

He was rushed to Cork University Hospital in a critical condition.

The HSE say the boy has now been pronounced dead.

It is believed the child's family are from Cork city and were on holiday in Youghal when the tragedy happened.
