Environmentalists have spent the day at the London law courts trying to block the opening of a new nuclear processing plant at Sellafield in Cumbria.
They are asking three judges to overturn a high court order two weeks ago that the British government had made 'no error of law' in allowing the plant to open.
The objectors are arguing that the British Secretary of State of Health had taken a distorted view when deciding the new mox plant was 'economically justified'.
