ISEQ charges ahead
The ISEQ charged ahead this afternoon. The index climbed 121.106 points to 8202.87 on the back of a bright afternoon for the financials.
AIB lead the way with an impressive 69c rise to €20.99, while the Bank of Ireland went up 20c to €15.40.
The Anglo Irish Bank surged up 20 c by close today to €12.90 with Bank of ireland close on its heels. By close BoI had also risen 20 to stand at €15.40.
