MEP Pat ‘the Cope’ Gallagher hopes to win the seat taken by independent candidate Tom Gildea at the last election.

After visiting the two constituencies in Co Donegal, Mr Ahern will travel to Sligo before departing for Cork ahead of tomorrow’s canvassing.
