Niall Connolly, James Monaghan and Martin McCauley have been in prison in Bogota for two-and-a-half years.

They were arrested in August 2001 on suspicion of training anti-government rebels in bomb-making techniques.

Their trial ended eight months ago, but a verdict is still pending. The Bring Them Home campaign has claimed that Vice President Santos promised movement in the case before the end of March and they would be raising this promise during today’s meeting.
