An Aer Lingus flight to Spain has been forced to return to Dublin this morning after an undisclosed problem on board the aircraft.

An Aer Lingus flight to Spain has been forced to return to Dublin this morning after an undisclosed problem on board the aircraft.

The Airbus plane was 90 minutes into its journey to Malaga in southern Spain when the pilot decided to turn around.

The plane landed safely at Dublin Airport, where the emergency services were deployed as a precaution.
