A woman has died following a road crash in Co Westmeath this morning.

A woman has died following a road crash in Co Westmeath this morning.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene following the single-vehicle collision in Collinstown at around 8am.

Four children, aged between six months and 15 years of age, who were also in the car at the time have been taken to Mullingar General Hospital, but their conditions are not believed to be serious.
