High Court rules today on Foley case

The High Court yesterday reserved judgement until this morning in the injunction proceedings taken by Michael Foley against Aer Lingus.

The High Court yesterday reserved judgement until this morning in the injunction proceedings taken by Michael Foley against Aer Lingus.

He is trying to stop Aer Lingus from taking further steps against him until a full and independent appeals procedure is in place to deal with the disciplinary matters and findings of the initial investigation of two complaints of sexual harassment against him.

The court heard he declined the opportunity to ask questions and identify further witnesses during the investigation.

He declined to cross-examine the two women who made the complaints.

He also failed to produce evidence of an alleged conspiracy against him.

If today's High Court ruling goes against him Michael Foley said he may go to the Supreme Court.
