Renault managing director Flavio Briatore has reversed his decision to retire at the end of the year in the wake of the team’s stunning start to 2005.
Briatore had planned to step back from running Renault’s Formula One team at the end of the season to concentrate on his driver management business.
But Renault have won all three grands prix so far in 2005 and they are not keen to break up a winning team.
Team president Patrick Faure said: “We are extremely pleased with the work the team has done and the results it has achieved under Flavio Briatore’s management.”
