Seven held in operation against dissident republicans

Police in the North have arrested seven men this morning as part of an operation against suspected dissident republicans.

Police in the North have arrested seven men this morning as part of an operation against suspected dissident republicans.

The arrests were made during a series of ongoing raids in the Craigavon area of Co Armagh.

The PSNI has released few details of the operation, but says it is designed "to make the area safer for everyone".

It has also apologised for disruption caused to local people.
