The group set up to campaign against the new EU Reform Treaty has announced plans to distribute an information leaflet to every home in the country.

The group set up to campaign against the new EU Reform Treaty has announced plans to distribute an information leaflet to every home in the country.

Libertas says the booklet is designed to rebut the Government's arguments in favour of the treaty.

It says the Government is spending taxpayers' money on promoting the treaty, but is not spending anything on giving voters honest information.

Libertas has also hit out at the Green Party's attitude, claiming it has done a u-turn on its pre-election stance opposing such EU treaties.

It says the Greens are more interested in power than in doing what is right for the country.
