St Patrick's Day Grand Marshall youngest ever to lead Dublin festivities
This year's Grand Marshall of the country's biggest Saint Patrick's Day Parade says she wants to represent all the people of Ireland - including those with disabilities.
19-year-old Joanne O'Riordan, who has Total Amelia syndrome, is the youngest person ever to be given the honour of leading the Dublin festivities.
The UCC student found fame as an equality campaigner and a documentary about her life 'No Limbs No Limits' has been seen by 15 million people worldwide.
Joanne says she's really looking forward to it.
"As far as I know I'm welcoming the international press into Ireland, wishing them a happy Saint Patrick's Day and wishing them a safe trip.
"Then I suppose I'm going to have to do the big thing and walk or drive the actual route and wave to all the people.
"I don't know I'm going to feel like an akward wannabe version of Queen Lizzy or something waving to everyone but I can't wait for it I'm absolutely buzzing."
