A 16-year-old boy was due to appear in court this afternoon, in connection with the death of Aidan O'Kane.

A 16-year-old boy was due to appear in court this afternoon, in connection with the death of Aidan O'Kane.

He was one of seven teenagers arrested after the 50-year-old was gunned down in the East Wall area of Dublin on Sunday night.

The father-of-one was attacked as he chased a group of youths from his home.

Gardaí said a 16-year-old would appear before the juvenile court in Dublin charged in connection with the killing.
