Paris Hilton's great-grandfather would be "turning in his grave" over The Simple Life star's imprisonment, according to rocker Jon Bon Jovi.
Hilton is serving time at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California for violating her probation on a 2006 drink driving arrest, but is expected to be released for good behaviour on June 25.
The Livin' on a Prayer hitmaker is saddened by the way the hotel heiress has been treated but believes her late great-grandfather Conrad Hilton - founder of the hotel chain - would be disappointed by the incident.
He says: "I think it's sad that the young girl has to go to jail, but I also think her poor great-grandfather would be turning in his grave over what's happening now because he worked hard for what he achieved."
The star also blames Hollywood for the downfall of troubled stars Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears.
He says: "The thing is, I hate it in Hollywood. Look at what the world of Hollywood is doing to our young kids. There's Lindsay Lohan - gorgeous girl and pretty decent actress too , but she needs to get out and go anywhere else in the world but Hollywood. Britney too.
"They need to get the hell out of that town. When I go there, I just do my business and run."
