Man dies in Cork road accident

A man in his early 60s has been killed in a single vehicle road accident in Cork city overnight.

A man in his early 60s has been killed in a single vehicle road accident in Cork city overnight.

The incident happened when the car the man was driving hit a wall on the South Douglas Road at 3.50am this morning.

He was brought to the South Infirmary Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
