Gardaí in Co Mayo are appealing to the public for information about a man who has been missing since yesterday.

Anthony O'Malley of Bangor Erris, Ballina in Co Mayo was last seen in Bangor Erris at 9am yesterday morning.

The 30-year-old weighs about 14 stone, wears glasses and was wearing a green jumper and a pair of jeans at the time.

Gardaí say he drives a grey Alfa Romeo registration number 99-G-4749.

Anyone with any information is being asked to contact the Gardaí in Belmullet at 097 819 10 or any Garda station.
