Ombudsman probes crash between garda jeep and car
The garda ombudsman is investigating the circumstances surrounding a crash involving a garda 4x4 jeep and another car last night.
The collision occurred at around 11pm near Askeaton in Co Limerick.
Three male gardaí and two men travelling in the other car are being treated at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
