Road accident victim said to be from Ballinasloe

The man who died earlier today in a road accident is believed to be a 49-year-old lorry driver from Ballinasloe, in Co Galway.

The man who died earlier today in a road accident is believed to be a 49-year-old lorry driver from Ballinasloe, in Co Galway.

The accident occurred when his articulated truck collided with a van on the N4, near to Kilcock in Co Kildare.

The victim’s body was removed to Blanchardstown Hospital.

A 43-year-old woman was also hospitalised, as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.
