Much-changed City to face Baggies
Roberto Mancini has dipped into Manchester City’s pool of youngsters for tonight’s Carling Cup tie at West Brom.
Manager Mancini has handed Javan Vidal, Ben Mee and John Guidetti their debuts and has also included three other teenagers as he tries to keep his senior men fit to face Chelsea on Saturday.
Shay Given starts in goal but there is no Emmanuel Adebayor, who is still troubled by a dead leg, to face a Baggies outfit who themselves retain only Nicky Shorey from the side that defeated Birmingham at the Hawthorns on Saturday.
