Politicians' pay rise should be performance related: FG
Fine Gael is calling for pay increases to politicians, civil servants and judges to be made performance-related.
The party said that such a system would make the State more efficient and save the tax payer money.
Yesterday, the Government announced that it is suspending its controversial pay increases for a year.
Fine Gael's Enterprise spokesperson Leo Varadkar said the move was no more than a cosmetic exercise.
