Juventus striker Marco Di Vaio has become the latest Italian international to leave Serie A and join Spanish club Valencia.

Juventus striker Marco Di Vaio has become the latest Italian international to leave Serie A and join Spanish club Valencia.

The former Parma forward moves to Spain for a reported fee of €11.5m to be paid over five years, although Juventus would not confirm this.

“We can confirm that Marco Di Vaio has been sold to Valencia on a permanent basis,” a club spokesman said.

Di Vaio joins Azzurri team-mates Stefano Fiore and Bernardo Corradi at the Estadio Mestalla after the duo moved from Lazio earlier in the summer.

Valencia are now coached by Italian former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri and already have Italian full-back Amedeo Carboni on their books.
