Ten held in connection with suspected counterfeit money haul

Ten men remain in Garda custody today in connection with a suspected counterfeit money-making ring.

Ten men remain in Garda custody today in connection with a suspected counterfeit money-making ring.

The men, aged between 18 and 45, were detained following dawn raids on houses in Tipperary, Cork, Dublin and Waterford yesterday.

Financial documents, drugs, homemade weapons and satellite equipment were seized.

The men are being held at various garda stations in the south east.
