Gardaí have released a man being questioned in connection with the death of a young woman in south Co Dublin over the weekend.

Gardaí have released a man being questioned in connection with the death of a young woman in south Co Dublin over the weekend.

The woman, who was in her 20s, was found dead at an apartment complex for homeless people in George's Place, Dun Laoghaire, on Saturday night.

A man in his 30s was arrested early yesterday morning in connection with the discovery, but was released last night pending instructions from the DPP.

A post mortem examination is to be carried out on the dead woman's body today.
