A number of animal rights demonstrators were attacked last night during a protest outside a circus in Dublin.

A number of animal rights demonstrators were attacked last night during a protest outside a circus in Dublin.

At least three protestors suffered minor injuries when they were attacked by a gang in the grounds of Castleknock College.

A 34-year-old man was arrested and later charged with causing criminal damage to a camcorder belonging to one of the demonstrators.
