Gardaí in Limerick are investigating the reported rape of a woman in Abbeyfeale in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Gardaí in Limerick are investigating the reported rape of a woman in Abbeyfeale in the early hours of Sunday morning.

It has been alleged that the woman, who is in her thirties, was attacked at a house on the Main Street between 4 and 5am.

She was treated at the sexual assault unit of the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.

Two men were arrested on Sunday and later released without charge.
