It is possible that Luke Fitzgerald could get the nod over Denis Hickie to line up on the oppposite wing to Robert Kearney on the Leinster side to play The Ospreys in Friday night's Magners League clash the Liberty Stadium.

It would add a degree of excitement to see Fitzgerald and Kearney share the same field outside the influence of centres Gordon D'Arcy and Shane Horgan.

Scrum-half Chris Whitaker is the only change in the backline and he comes in for Guy Easterby who could be in line for a speedy return to the bench.

The pack is unchanged from the Dragons game a fortnight ago with Stephen Keogh again lining up alongside Keith Gleeson and Jamie Heaslip in the back-row.

Bernard Jackman makes a timely return to the bench after recovering from a shoulder injury sustained in Glasgow earlier this month.
