Man to face court following Cabra drug seizure

A man will appear in court in Dublin at the end of the month charged in connection with yesterday's drug seizure in Cabra.

A man will appear in court in Dublin at the end of the month charged in connection with yesterday's drug seizure in Cabra.

The man, who is in his 40s, was arrested after Gardaí seized around€10,000 worth of ecstasy tablets in the Dunard area.

He was questioned by gardaí at Blanchardstown before being released on bail pending his appearance in court on August 26.

A woman in her 40s who was also arrested has been released without charge - Gardaí say a file is being prepared for the DPP.

Meanwhile, two men who were also arrested yesterday in connection with a separate drug seizure in Cabra are still being questioned by gardaí.

The men, who were arrested after €600,000 worth of cannabis was uncovered, are being questioned under the provisions of Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act at Cabra garda station.
