DaimlerChrysler AG has said its buses and coaches business unit hopes to post a 10% increase in revenues and unit sales this year from last year, with operating results improving as well.
Unit head at the company, Wolfgang Diez, said that this increase was expected, despite stagnating markets.
Last year, the buses and coaches business posted sales of 25,100 units and revenues of €3bn.
Diez described utilisation of production capacity at plants in Germany as "more than satisfactory" for this year.
