Greg Rusedski won the Heineken Open in Auckland today after defeating Frenchman Jerome Golmard 6-7 (0/7) 6-4 7-5.

Rusedski, the British number 2 seed, is now preparing to take on Scott Draper in the Australian Open in Melbourne.
