The High Court has heard that convicted killer Eamonn Lillis has come to an arrangement with his daughter and the family of his dead wife over the division of the couple's shared assets.

He is currently serving six years and 11 months in jail for the manslaughter of Celine Cawley at their home Rowan Hill in Howth, Dublin in December 2008.

Last month, the High Court ruled he was entitled to the joint assets, but ruled half is to be put in trust for the estate of Ms Cawley.

Celine Cawley's sister Susanna has described the outcome as "a triumph".
