Car insurance premiums vary by 500%
The Irish Financial Services Regulator has published a survey showing huge variations in motor insurance premiums charged by different insurance firms.
The survey showed that insurance quotes given out by different companies varied by up to 500%.
The results of the study are published on a new website launched by the regulator today.
