Crimestoppers is offering a €10,000 reward for information about a man suspected of being behind a string of sex attacks in Carlow and Cavan over the past two years.

Crimestoppers is offering a €10,000 reward for information about a man suspected of being behind a string of sex attacks in Carlow and Cavan over the past two years.

The Irishman, who is in his 20s, is suspected of involvement in at least 15 assaults and attempted assaults against women in the two counties.

He gained access to some victims' homes by posing as a tradesman, while other victims were attacked while walking alone.

The perpetrator has brown or black hair, a slim build and possibly wears a small gold ring in his left ear.
