After five days of gains the ISEQ is in danger of slipping back today, as shares have fallen 22.85 to 6,706.41 in morning trading.
Shares in Allied Irish Bank have climbed 5c higher to €17.94 but Bank of Ireland shares have slipped 14c to €13.71.
Irish Life & Permanent shares have fallen 5c to €14.45. Anglo Irish Bank shares have edged 3c higher to €10.93.
Elsewhere shares in Ryanair are unchanged at €6.80 this morning. Ryanair today named Pisa as its 14th European base and announced three new routes to Dublin, Eindhoven and Alghero from the Italian airport.
Pharmaceutical giant Elan has slipped back 13c today to €6.44 despite yesterday's positive news about clinical trial data on the company's multiple sclerosis drug Tysabri.
Shares in building materials giant CRH have fallen 15c today to €22.55.
Jury's Doyle Group - the subject of takeover speculation in recent months - has seen shares fall 10c to €15.50 today.
