Gardaí are seeking the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of a 25-year-old man who has been missing from his home in Thurles since Sunday.

Gardaí are seeking the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of a 25-year-old man who has been missing from his home in Thurles since Sunday.

Alan Lyons is described as 5'3" in height, of slim build, with short, dark black hair, blue eyes and a pale complexion.

When last seen in Dunmanway, Co Cork, on Sunday, he was wearing a brown hoody with a large orange star on the back.

Mr Lyons' family is concerned for his wellbeing as he is a diabetic and dependent on insulin.
