Gardaí in Monaghan have renewing their appeal for information about a serious sexual assault in the early hours of Sunday morning, November 6.

They said they were particularly interested in any information on a 94 or 95 registered red Opel or Vauxhall Astra which was seen on the Castleblaney to Ballybay road between 2 and 3.30am.

There were four people in the car but Gardaí believe only one was involved in the assault. They have asked the remaining three to come forward.
