Six people have been killed in the US after a passenger on a Greyhound bus cut the throat of the driver, causing the vehicle to crash.

At least 32 people are injured, said Dana Keaton, Tennessee Department of Public Safety spokeswoman.

Local sheriff’s spokesman Steve DeFord, said he could not confirm details of what happened but added "the assailant" was among those killed and that the investigation has been turned over to the FBI.
