It's back to business for companies across the country today - with some areas still facing disruption to water services.
Restrictions have eased in most areas except for the capital, where staggered cut-offs will be imposed for the rest of the week.
Dublin City Council is hoping to reduce imposed night-time restrictions to every other evening. A spokesman said the restrictions will generally be in place from 6pm until 7am the following day.
Local authorities are again urging people to check for burst pipes and leaks, with consumers who do have water again being asked to make every effort to conserve supplies.
Spokesman Michael Sands said Dublin City Council is ready for the surge in demand as businesses re-open today.
"We are prepared for it," Mr Sands insisted.
"We are not expecting anything out of the ordinary and we have our systems in place to deal with business restarting after the holidays."
