SIPTU strike 'won't disrupt passengers'

Management at the Servisair baggage handling firm has said that disruption to the passengers at Dublin Airport can be kept to a minimum, even if SIPTU goes ahead with its planned industrial action.

Management at the Servisair baggage handling firm has said that disruption to the passengers at Dublin Airport can be kept to a minimum, even if SIPTU goes ahead with its planned industrial action.

The union is considering the strike because of work practices within the company.

Talks at the Labour Relations Commission today failed to find a solution to the dispute, but management said it remains available for dialogue.
