The 'Yeah 3x' hitmaker can understand the 19-year-old singer's recent behaviour - including being two hours late for a London show, accused of threatening a neighbour and having his pet monkey confiscated - because he doesn't think the star's advisers would say no to him.

Chris told Power 105.1′s Breakfast Club: "It's a case of how I feel. Being young, having a limitless amount of income to do whatever you want. You have nobody who's going to say, 'Hey bro, you look whack right now.'

"I pray for him, I pray for myself. I think we're both great artists ... he's like a baby Elvis."

The 23-year-old singer - who was convicted of assaulting girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 - went on to suggest the "little black boys" in Justin's entourage will be blamed for his recent behaviour.

He added: "I feel like the mainstream media ... they're going to target the little black boys around him and say this is why he's doing it. I'm damn sure glad I'm not around."

Meanwhile, insiders claim the 'Beauty and a Beat' hitmaker's recent bizarre antics have been triggered by his split from Selena Gomez.

The sources told TMZ that the star was "torn apart" when the 'Spring Breakers' actress ended their relationship in January and he feels "tortured" because his former flame has refused to make a clean break and keeps calling him.
