N-Dubz rapper Dappy will have his case heard in the Crown Court after being charged with affray over a fight at a petrol station which left three men with serious facial injuries.

The singer was arrested on March 12 following the incident on the forecourt of a Shell garage in Woodbridge Road, Guildford, Surrey, in the early hours of February 28.

He appeared for a committal hearing at Guildford Magistrates’ Court today under his real name of Dino Costas Contostavlos, a court official said.

He will appear alongside his three co-defendants at Guildford Crown Court on August 24.

The other men are Kieran Patrick Vassell, 24, of Hammersmith, west London; Kalonji David Stewart, 31, of Harborne, Birmingham; and Alfred James Miller, 27, of Brentford, west London.

No pleas have been entered, she said.

Dappy, 25, who performed in N-Dubz alongside his cousin and X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos, and Richard “Fazer” Rawson, has recently seen success as a solo artist and recorded with Queen guitarist Brian May.
