Liverpool confirm Diarra interest
Liverpool have confirmed they are interested in young French star Alou Diarra.
The defensive midfielder is currently with Bayern Munich.
A club spokesman told Liverpool's website: "Alou Diarra is a player we have an interest in."
The 21-year-old former French Under-20 international signed for the German giants from Louhans-Cuiseaux two years ago.
He was a member of the French Under-20 side that went to the World Youth Cup in 2001, and would be available on a free transfer.
