Longford's Dillon joins Irish U21 squad

Longford Town defender Sean Dillon has been called into the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad for tomorrow’s friendly against Bulgaria in Drogheda.

Longford Town defender Sean Dillon has been called into the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad for tomorrow’s friendly against Bulgaria in Drogheda.

Dillon, who celebrated his 21st birthday on July 30 and has been capped at U14, U16, U17 and U19 levels, replaces the injured Kevin Foley of Luton Town.

The Dubliner joins fellow eircom League players Liam Kearney and Kevin Doyle, both of Cork City, in Don Givens’ squad.
