Bouncers required to wear ID from next week
New rules requiring bouncers and security guards to wear identity badges while on the job are due to come into force from next week.
From September 1, doormen risk losing their licence if they are not wearing proper identification.
Justice Minister Dermot Ahern says the new regulation will benefit the industry and increase consumer confidence.
