Derry 0-16 Down 1-13

Ruairi Convery hit a crucial late point for Derry for the second week running as the Oak Leafers drew with Down in today's Ulster SHC semi-final at Casement Park.

Convery struck his 11th point of the afternoon to ensure a replay, which has been set for the same venue next Sunday.

Down led 1-9 to 0-7 at the break with Eoin Clarke goaling off the ground in the 32nd minute.

Down led late on with Gareth Johnson and Brendan McGourty hitting some fine points before Convery turned Derry's hero.

Johnson also missed a decent goal chance as Derry's Joe McEldowney thwarted him from close range.
