Shelbourne had two goals disallowed as Drogheda battled for a richly deserved point in this thriller at Tolka Park tonight.

Drogheda stunned Shels on 90 seconds when defender Jason Gavin headed home.

Shels appeared to have turned the match on its head inside four minutes early in the second half.

Gary O’Neill levelled on 52 minutes before Greg O’Halloran headed Pat Fenlon’s Reds in front.

But, remarkably, Drogheda equalised within a minute when Gavin Whelan headed home Shane Robinson’s cross.

Shels remain three points clear of Derry.
