The Finance Minister Brian Lenihan has said he still has "full confidence" in the Taoiseach Brian cowen despite the results of the latest opinion poll.

The Finance Minister Brian Lenihan has said he still has "full confidence" in the Taoiseach Brian cowen despite the results of the latest opinion poll.

The survey carried out for TV3 puts Fianna Fáil in third place behind Fine Gael with Labour the most popular party, while Brian Cowen only has 11% support to be next Taoiseach.

The next test of confidence in Brian Cowen and the Government will come over the weekend in the Sunday Business Post Red C tracking poll.
