Men remain in custody for Limerick tiger kidnapping

Two men remain in garda custody this morning, in connection with a tiger kidnapping attempt in Co Limerick almost a week ago.

Last Sunday, an armed gang abducted a 19 year-old man from a house in Castletroy.

He was told to demand money from his family, who own a post office, but managed to escape.

The pair, aged 21 and 34, are being questioned at Henry Street Garda Station.

A third person, a 15 year old boy, was charged in connection with the incident on Wednesday.
