A search for a missing pensioner in Westmeath is entering its third day.

74-year-old Kathleen Reilly hasn't been seen since Thursday morning, near Coosan Point Road in Athlone.

A number of community groups are helping Gardaí in their search efforts in the Lough Ree area.

Kathleen is described as being five feet tall, of small build and with grey hair. She also wears red-brown framed glasses.

Anyone who may have seen her is asked to contact Gardaí.
